Yahoo! Answers: I need to dye a wool suit jacket black but I want to spare the l

Wednesday, June 02, 2010 at 11:58

How do I do this? I want to use RIT dye to dye my fiance's navy blue wool suit jacket black for our wedding. The coat has a lovely pearl colored lining made of a material called acetate. I dont know what that is but it feels like silk and if possible I would like to spare it from the dye. If not, I can live with that. I just want to have the outer shell be black like a typical black suit. Please give me some tips!
